Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela:

A golden opportunity has come for fresher youth to get employment. The Prime Minister’s National Apprenticeship Fair (PMNAM) will be organized on February 13 in more than 200 districts across the country.
Under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Skill India Mission, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is going to organize the Prime Minister’s National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) on February 13, 2023 in 200+ districts across the country.

National Apprenticeship Mela:

Announcement of giving stipend to 47 lakh youth in the budget Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, said that through this fair, candidates will also earn National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) recognized certificates, improving their employability rate after the training sessions. During PMNAM, we are promoting apprenticeship education-to-work transition.
Major announcements have been made in the Union Budget 2023 including Direct Benefit Transfer to provide financial assistance to 47 lakh youth in three years under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme. Individuals selected in apprenticeship fairs also get monthly stipend as per government norms for acquiring new skills. For more details visit msde.gov.in.

National Apprenticeship Mela:

You will get job on the spot Several local businesses and organizations have been invited to be a part of this Apprenticeship Fair to provide an excellent opportunity to the local youth to kick start their career through apprenticeship training. There will be participation of many companies representing different sectors in the Apprenticeship Fair.
These companies and government enterprises will have the opportunity to meet potential apprentices on a single platform and select the eligible applicants on the spot, thereby providing an opportunity to the applicants to strengthen their livelihood and learn new skills.
To participate in the Prime Minister’s National Apprenticeship Fair, candidates can visit apprenticeshipindia.gov.in to register for the fair and locate their nearest location.

National Apprenticeship Mela:

These documents will be required Those candidates who are 5th to 12th pass or having skill training certificate or ITI certificate holder or diploma holder or graduate can apply in this Apprenticeship Fair.
Candidates have to carry three copies of their Resume, three copies of all mark sheets and certificates, photo identity proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License etc.) and three passport size photographs to the respective venues. The locations are also available on Apprenticeship Mela portal dgt.gov.in/appmela2022/. Those who have already enrolled are requested to reach the venue with all the relevant documents.
