Job Description – Role and Responsibilities
A) Base Building Equipment Operations and Maintenance: This scope includes the building structure,
shelving, power distribution and associated switchgear, heat ventilation, and air conditioning.
• Perform planned preventive and reliability-focused maintenance on electrical systems, including but not limited to, testing of
low-voltage circuit breakers, Amazon Electrical proprietary
systems, medium voltage and low voltage relays, and medium voltage and low voltage transformers.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders, and work with
engineering teams to fix the issue.
• Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvement through the Team Manager.
• Support the Change Operations Manager in making changes to shelving slots in the inventory area as per business needs. Cleaning and maintenance of the shelving area, such as deck plates, side guards, etc.
• Monitoring heat index inside buildings and engaging HVAC technicians to rectify the issue in case of HI violation.
Reporting the violation to the RME Manager with proper reason details.
• Planning and executing reliability-focused maintenance of HVAC systems, including chillers and allied components such as pumps, AHUs, etc.
• Working knowledge of Building Management System and allied components such as damper valves, servo actuators, and BACnet communication protocols.
• Working with Procurement and Projects to supervise the contractor on site for PEB structure audit and repairs.
Arranging work permits in coordination with the site WHS team, with details of work methods.
• Reviewing critical spares in the APM store, monitoring min-max quantities. Replenish these spares before they get out of stock.
• Repair and maintenance of facilities like washrooms, cafeteria, driver room, reception, and allied components in coordination with 3P MST.
